Unforgettable
Booklist
“A storyteller of rare warmth whose novels linger long after the final page is turned.”
I was in Mrs. Meacham’s freshman composition class in 1979-80 at Kitty Hawk. She taught me to write well, of course, but also how to be myself and to be my own advocate. Her life inspired me so much that I decided to follow through on an idea I had 30 years ago — to start writing novels. My first is publishing this month, called “Come Fly With Me: Surrendering to God’s Plan.” I honor Mrs. Meacham’s impact on my life in the acknowledgements. She proved to us all it is never too late to chase a “second” dream. - LeAnna Kosub
